Ep. 103 – an Intro to Brandies and Cognacs
When we think of Brandies and Cognacs, we envision sitting beside a nice fire in a chair with a blanket over your legs, brandy in hand, almost romanticizing it like in a Norman Rockwell painting. Our friend Ben stops in again, and we actually cover a bit of ground on what these spirits are, where they can come from, and the differences of how some are made.
In this episode we sample and review E&J Brandy’s VSOP Grand Blue, Ara Jan Armenian Brandy, Copper & King’s Butchertown Reserve Cask, Tattersall Apple Brandy, Courvoisier, and Hennessy.
