Ep. 62 – Nox’s Notables 2 (or battle of the abv’s)
When Nox feels like doing a bottle /can share, how can anyone argue? He collected 7 for the podcast to sample and talk about, and we invited Blake to sit in and give his thoughts as well! In the one we sample Drekker’s Nightman Cometh and it’s four other variants with coconut and vanilla beans, Oreo cookie and vanilla beans, and peanut butter and marshmallow. We also sample Disgruntled’s “It’s Pecan Not Pecan” pecan porter with maple, Firestone Walker’s XXIII Anniversary Ale, and finishing up with Surly’s 13 maple barrel-aged imperial milk stout with vanilla beans and lactose.
