Ep. 120 – Intro to St. Patrick’s Day
Welcome once again to another yearly venture into everything Irish. In this week’s episode we invite good ol’ Guest #2 Ben Revier back along with nephew Tucker. Nox gives a little lecture on who Patrick actually was and what he did to become a saint, then we dive right into it.
In this episode we split our tastings into two groups: beers, then whisk(e)ys. In the first group we sample and review Boulevard’s Irish Ale, Swing Barrel’s Rustica Irish Red Ale, and Smithwicks Red Ale. In the second group we sip on Slane Irish Whiskey, Tullamore D.E.W. 12 year, Redbreast Single Pot Still 12 year, and West Cork’s Glengariff Series Peat Charred Cask, which was super similar to episode 64’s Bog Oak Charred from last year. Be sure to check that episode out, too!
