Ep. 118 – West Coast IPAs vs New England IPAs
This is our version of a West coast versus east coast battle, and we find it quite amusing! We invite Don K. and Blake B back to the show to discuss the differences between the two styles (and even the subtle difference in east coast ipas vs new england ipas), and poke some fun at each other.
In this episode we sample and review on the West Coast side Stone Brewing’s Stone IPA, Firestone Walker’s Union Jack, Junkyard’s Gone Hollywood West Coast style IPA, and Surly’s Axe Man IPA. On the New England side we drink Portage Brewing’s Other Plans, Modist Brewing’s Dream Yard, Swing Barrel Brewing’s Cheater Hops, and Drekker’s Synaptic Cleft.
