Ep. 92 – Rieslings (or Speckled Cock)
What’s a better wine to enjoy in the hot summer months than a nicely chilled chilled glass of white? And while Chardonnay is arguably the most popular of the white wines, today we delve into the sweet and/or dry world of Rieslings! We here at BBR most definitely were looking for an amusing adventure, so we collected our thoughts, set our eyes towards a gathering of grapes, and with a hearty twist of the bottle cap, we sample and review Boundary Break’s ‘OLN Ovid Line North’ Medium Dry Riesling, Elk Cove’s 2017 Willamette Valley Estate Riesling, the 2018 KungFu Girl from Charles Smith Wines, RELAX’s RIesling, Nik Weis’s St Urbans Hof Estate Riesling Old Vines, and two from Chateau Ste Michelle: their 2018 Columbia Valley Dry riesling, and their 2017 Harvest Select Sweet Riesling.
